Temporary Suspension
Students may be temporarily suspended from the University for a minimum of one semester, and up to a maximum of two years, for plagiarism and/or violations of the Honor Code. A suspension order is based on a report from the Department Chair, and is addressed to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. This order will clearly state the reason for the suspension, the period of suspension and the conditions for the student’s reinstatement at the end of the suspension period. The HR Office will issue suspension orders and Departments are responsible for notifying students.
The Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct is available on the web site or in the Student Life Office.
