On October 23, 2026, students from the Anthropology and International Development Program were recognized at the certificate award ceremony honoring students named to the President’s and Vice President’s Lists.

Last Wednesday, students of the Anthropology and International Development Program at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) had the opportunity to attend a special guest lecture by Dr. Jacqueline T. Eng and Dr. Michelle Hrivnyak, bioarchaeologists from Western Michigan University. The lecture was held as part of the course Race, Human Diversity and Biology.

On October 16, 2026, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) hosted an information session with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), led by Gizela Zimmermann, Director of DAAD Central Asia.

The American University of Central Asia (AUCA) hosted the Annual Presidents' Forum of the Alliance of Asian Liberal Arts Universities (AALAU) on 9-10 October, marking the first time the University held the forum.

From October 11 to 16, 2026, AUCA librarians attended the Manuscript Conservation and Preservation Training, organized by the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
