At Bogotá Retreat, Student Government Fellows Strengthen Team Building, Public Speaking, and Leadership Skills
OSUN brings together scholars and student groups from around the globe for conferences and events related to academic scholarship, community engagement, and leadership. Recently, several groups of OSUN student fellows gathered in Bogota, Colombia at the Universidad de los Andes for a week of discussion and learning about the role of the student as community leader and what that means for the work they do.

The Alumni Relations Office is excited to announce a new scholarship. Avazbek Kamalov (IBL’17) established a scholarship for the IBL students.  The Avazbek Kamalov Scholarship amount is 1000 USD per year and will be granted to support one IBL student.

Asel Osmongazieva graduated from AUCA in 2021 from Journalism and Mass Communications Department. Right after graduation, Asel decided to get work experience, and currently, she is working for a non-profit organization that fights tuberculosis through various activities.

Aziza Kanimetova: “AUCA taught me how to think outside of the box”
Aziza Kanimetova graduated AUCA from the Journalism and Mass Communications department in 2020. After graduation, Aziza started an internship as a communication specialist at UNICEF. Upon successful internship completion, Aziza was offered to work at UNICEF as a Design and Social Media Consultant.
