The Student Senate, the Student Life Office, and the Center for Civic Engagement are announcing the collecting of humanitarian aid for the people affected by the recent earthquake.

Moldoshev Bakai is a junior student in the Anthropology department specializing in International Development. Last semester he spent in New York studying at The Bard Globalization and International Affairs program.

Friday, February 2, is the final day of Multicultural Week. During this week, students immersed themselves in the variety of our world, playing national games, eating traditional dishes and, of course, got acquainted with the peculiarities of the presented cultures. This year, 11 delegation teams took part in the Multicltural Week.

From January 10-18, participants in the OSUN CORUSUS project’s ethnoecology course, hosted by CEU’s Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, gathered in Vienna at Central European University (CEU)
 

OSUN brings together scholars and student groups from around the globe for conferences and events related to academic scholarship, community engagement, and leadership. Recently, several groups of OSUN student fellows gathered in Bogota, Colombia at the Universidad de los Andes for a week of discussion and learning about the role of the student as community leader and what that means for the work they do.

Zhamilia Asanova graduated from Journalism and Mass Communication Department in May 2022. Right after graduation Zhamilia decided to continue her education and entered a Master’s degree program at the Corvinus University of Budapest. Zhamilia participated in a highly competitive Stipendium Hungaricum program and was among the top-selected students from all over Kyrgyzstan.
