The Orientation Program 2025 at AUCA kicked off on Monday, August 11th, welcoming 350 bright and ambitious freshmen into the AUCA family. This marks the start of an exciting chapter not only for the new students, but also for the entire AUCA community.

In the summer, from July 12 to July 24, 2025, a select group of high school students from China embarked on an academic expedition to answer a critical question: How do local communities in the heart of Central Asia adapt to pressing global challenges? Set against the stunning backdrop of Kyrgyzstan’s Tian Shan mountains, this immersive Environmental Science program was designed to move learning far beyond the traditional classroom, transforming participants into active field researchers.

On June 12-13, 2025, AUCA hosted the international conference “Academic Libraries: Trends and Innovations,” bringing together over library professionals from Central Asia and abroad.

On May 17, 2025, the American University of Central Asia hosted its highly anticipated Student Research Conference at the AUCA CH. This event has become a cornerstone of the university’s academic calendar.

Presidential Research and Education Fund 2025: Winners from LAS AUCA! We are proud to announce that four incredible projects from our department have been selected as winners of the Presidential Research and Education Fund 2025! These initiatives showcase innovation, social impact, and a commitment to positive change:- Impact Startup Incubator – A unique 8-week program designed to help students and alumni transform their ideas into real-world solutions.

From March 17-21, 2025, AUCA Librarian Madina Kerimova visited the Central European University (CEU) Library in Vienna through the OSUN Staff Mobility Fellowship. This program offered valuable opportunities for professional collaboration and knowledge exchange.

 

As part of a collaboration between SEBA and CTLT, a project on AI tool application within the Business Communication course was launched in February 2025. Led by Dr. N. Korosteleva and Katerina Kombarova, this initiative primarily targets BA students and has been conducted over the past three semesters (Spring 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024).
