Orientation Program 2026
Two packed weeks of orientation have come to a close, and the closing ceremony was held. As in previous days, freshmen spent much of their time on academic sessions. They also learned how to build their own schedules and took part in online course registration for the first time - a genuinely challenging process, but one they handled well.

Annual International Conference of the Mid-Latitude Region Network (MLRN) & Third Pole at AUCA
 

 
On August 18–19, 2026, AUCA, Maker Space hosted the Annual International Conference of the Mid-Latitude Region Network (MLRN) & Third Pole, themed "Designing Climate-Resilient Futures."
The conference brought together international researchers, climate change experts, and representatives from academia, government agencies, and international organizations working in the fields of climate resilience, water security, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development.

STAR ACADEMY: Freshmen Take the Stage

This week, the FORUM turned into a stage for STAR ACADEMY, an Orientation Week highlight where freshmen teams wrote, rehearsed, and performed original pieces entirely on their own. Each team was assigned a genre — from circus and fairy tale to musical, theater, talk show, and cinema — and had to bring it to life in front of their peers and a panel of judges.
